On World Malaria Day  Editor-in-Chief of PLOS Pathogens, Kasturi Haldar, alongside Margaret Phillips discussed  progress in malaria research; highlighted hurdles yet to be overcome and provided an overview of PLOS research articles on targets and drugs for all stages of the malaria lifecycle.
