Read the new papers published in PLoS Medicine this week, including a Research Article that finds pregnancy rates increase in HIV-infected women after they start antiretroviral therapy (ART) in sub-Saharan Africa, a Policy Forum that reports studies repeatedly show that two-thirds to three-quarters of ex-smokers stop unaided and most ex-smokers report that cessation was less difficult than expected, and a Health in Action that describes how the Malaria Atlas Project (MAP) has collated data on the occurrence of Anopheles mosquitoes to map the geographic distributions of the dominant mosquito vectors of human malaria.
