Adya Misra is a Senior Editor at PLOS Medicine. She obtained her PhD in mitochondrial genetic disorders from Newcastle University, UK followed by postdoctoral positions in Karolinska Institute and the Institute of Cancer Research. She joined PLOS in 2016 as Associate Editor in the PLOS ONE Medicine and Public Health team, followed by the Publication Ethics team. Adya joined PLOS Medicine in 2019.
