Caitlin is a new PLOS Ecology Community Editor and a David H. Smith Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Maine and Acadia National Park. Her background is in conservation biology and plant ecology. She's currently studying alpine plant communities in Maine from a paleoecological perspective, which happily involves hiking to high elevation ponds with an inflatable kayak.
