Alexis is a Ph.D. candidate in the UC Berkeley - UCSF Graduate Program in Bioengineering and has a B.S. in Bioengineering from Syracuse University. She's worked in neuroscience labs since 2006, and has been patch clamping since 2009.
I’ve been a graduate student in bioengineering for quite a while now—let’s call it “more than five years”—but I harbor a far more embarrassing secret (for a bio-centric program) than that. I’ve only known how
