This week, four new articles were published in PLoS Medicine, including a perspective piece.

Matthias Egger and colleagues present a nomogram to correct estimates of program-level mortality for loss to follow-up, for use in antiretroviral treatment programs. This new method for calculation is discussed in a Perspective by Gregory Bisson.

Haileyesus Getahun and colleagues report the development of a simple, standardized tuberculosis (TB) screening rule for resource-constrained settings to identify people living with HIV who need further investigation for TB disease.

Aziz Sheikh and colleagues report the findings of their systematic overview, which assessed the impact of eHealth solutions on the quality and safety of health care.

Remember you can comment on, annotate and rate any PLoS Medicine article and see the views, citations and other indications of impact of an article on that articles metrics tab.
