The ViewChange Online Film Contest is happening now until September 15th. Run by LinkTV – “Television without Borders” – the ViewChange Contest features short films (most average 3 to 5 minutes) shot around the world.
ViewChangeFilmContest.org is launching an online competition to find powerful new stories about the progress being made in achieving the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). These short videos will be used to raise awareness, inspire action, and accelerate the worldwide movement to reduce extreme poverty by 2015.
The films come in six categories – sustainability, innovation, overcoming conflict, empowerment, leadership & governance, and local/global partnerships.
In all the areas, there are some really inspiring films, covering work from Haiti, Mali, Nepal, Congo, and many other countries.
You can go here to see the films and vote in the ViewChange Film Contest.
