Life on the road

Thanks to all of the wonderful people who came out to Here is a Human Being events in DC, Durham, Raleigh, Asheville and Cambridge, as well as those who called in on the radio. You have been wonderful and you’ve asked terrific questions. I have met engineers, anthropologists and astrologers. Last night in Cambridge, George Church was in the audience, which moved me no end.

To the extent that the book can offer clear explanations of the science involved and page-turning suspense about the frontiers of genetic research, I will have succeeded beyond my wildest expectations. Thank you again!

Just read the piece in Duke Magazine by Mary Carmichael and wonder if you’d like to talk to a 94 yr old graduate of Duke Med School in 1941; my snailmail address is: 2916 Tice Creek Drive #9, Walnut Creek, CA, 94595
In 1937 and early 1938 I used to ride a bike from the boarding-house where I lived just east of the Womens Campus to the Medical School where Dean Davison kept us all alert.

If you like this beginning, let me know and I’ll send you my phone number.
