The Winner of the PLOS ONE Tenth Anniversary T-Shirt Design Contest Is…

PLOS ONE is delighted to announce that “10 Hexagons for 10 Years” is the winner of our Tenth Anniversary T-Shirt Design Contest.

Congratulations to Laurence Garric, a postdoc in the Bakkers group at the Hubrecht Institute in the Netherlands, who created this design and will receive a free T-shirt (and bragging rights).

“Good science should ALWAYS be visible.”
– Laurence Garric, PhD

Explaining the design, Dr. Garric says, “The hexagons represent the different topics in PLOS ONE: physical, chemical, life and social sciences. The eye in the last hexagon represents the vision of the scientist as well as the vision of science by PLOS ONE (the editing line and the Open Access to increase science visibility).”

Pick up a tee by visiting the PLOS booth at conferences this year (while supplies last).

Thank you to all community members who submitted a design!
