Three Years On

December 20 is not only the anniversary of the first screening of Christmas classic, It’s a Wonderful Life (1946), and of the Louisiana Purchase (1803), but it’s also PLoS ONE’s third birthday: we launched on December 20, 2006, with our first 105 articles (plus the sandbox article).
