ONE Size Fits All

At PLoS, we are very proud of the t-shirts (and other PLoS-branded kit) we regularly produce to give to our editorial board members and other supporters (if you would like to win one of our t-shirts, why not try entering our ongoing blog pick of the month competition?). We are always happy when we hear that our editors, authors and fans have been spreading the word far and wide by wearing their PLoS t-shirt and so we were very pleased to receive a photo from Madhu Pai wearing his “hamsters love PLoS” t-shirt, along with Nitika (Nikki) Pant Pai and their daughter, Annika, on their recent visit to Japan.

Madhu is the PLoS ONE Section Editor for TB and an editorial board member for PLoS Medicine and Nikki is a PLoS ONE editorial board member. Madhu and Nikki are assistant professors at McGill University in Montreal. They conduct international research on TB and HIV and are advocates of Open Access publishing. You can listen to a podcast where Madhu talks about TB and Open Access with Chris Smith (of the Naked Scientists) via the Speaking of Medicine blog. You can also read the papers Madhu has published in PLoS ONE here and those published by Nikki here.

If you have a photo of yourself wearing a PLoS t-shirt (or drinking from a PLoS mug, donning some PLoS stickers or otherwise spreading the word for us), please send them to us (rwalton [at] plos.org) and we may be able to feature your photo on this blog! Photos taken in particularly unusual, glamorous or otherwise exotic locations are particularly encouraged!
