Since our launch on September 1, PLoS Blogs has actively investigating ways to improve our network. Though we still intend to keep our network very small, one of the ways we felt our site could be strengthened was to fill in a few gaps we have in content areas.
Jessica is a very talented freelance writer, having covered stories for Scientific American, The New York Times, Slate, and others in the past.
